I am the one who wrote "It has been 24 years in a prison cell”.  I have been able to connect with the would-be father and hear that he has adopted 3 girls in China to be a part of a loving family.  I also took the advice of a woman I met at [a seminar] who said to name the child and let her go to heaven. 

I named my child, Janessa, which means "forgiveness."  I visited the San Juan Islands and found a prayer wheel in a beautiful art garden where I asked her soul be accepted as an angel and she would look after me in this world today as her loving mother.

This gave me such peace, and yes it may be selfish to name her as I did and ask her to be my guardian, but I believe she is looking after me as she would not want her mother to suffer.
